Laurie E. Kamerrer is a senior associate attorney in the Los Angeles office of Adams Silva & McNally. Ms. Kamerrer provides advice and counsel regarding a variety of labor and employment law and governance matters. Ms. Kamerrer regularly supports clients through the disciplinary process, up to and including termination. Ms. Kamerrer also assists school districts in investigating and resolving complaints of discrimination, harassment, and retaliation.
Prior to joining Adams Silva & McNally, Ms. Kamerrer practiced as a litigation attorney, where she represented public and private entities and individuals in a variety of practice areas, including personal injury, employment law, and business litigation. Ms. Kamerrer routinely defended school districts in personal injury and premises liability litigation, and successfully resolved several cases for the benefit of the school district.
Ms. Kamerrer graduated Phi Beta Kappa from the University of Redlands, majoring in International Relations and Spanish. She attended Pepperdine University School of Law, obtaining her Juris Doctorate, as well as a Certificate in Dispute Resolution from the Straus Institute. During law school, Ms. Kamerrer served as a judicial extern for the Honorable Valerie Fairbanks at the United States District Court for the Central District of California.
In 2020, 2021, and 2022, Ms. Kamerrer was selected to the Southern California Rising Stars list, an honor reserved for lawyers who exhibit excellence in practice.
