Associate Attorney

Josette A. Teja

Ms. Teja is an Associate in the Los Angeles office of Adams Silva & McNally LLP, where she provides advice and counsel regarding special education matters, labor and employment law, student discipline issues, and governance.

Ms. Teja graduated Magna Cum Laude from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, with a degree in English. Before beginning her legal career, she worked as a long-term substitute teacher in a ninth and tenth grade special education classroom.

After a year of teaching, Ms. Teja attended Pepperdine University School of Law, where she earned her Juris Doctorate as well as a Certificate in Dispute Resolution from the Straus Institute. During law school, she served as Vice President of the Children and Family Law Society, represented victims of human trafficking through the Restoration and Justice Clinic, and clerked for Disability Rights California in the Youth Practice Group.

Ms. Teja joined Adams Silva & McNally as a law clerk in 2024 and transitioned to an associate attorney role in 2025
