Josette A. Teja

Josette Teja is an associate attorney in the Los Angeles office of Adams Silva & McNally. Ms. Teja provides advice and counsel regarding special education matters, labor and employment law, student discipline issues, and governance.

Ms. Teja graduated Magna Cum Laude from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, with a degree in English. Before beginning her legal career, Ms. Teja worked as a long-term substitute teacher in a 9th and 10th grade special education classroom.

After one year of teaching, Ms. Teja attended Pepperdine University School of Law, obtaining her Juris Doctorate, as well as a Certificate in Dispute Resolution from the Straus Institute. During law school, Ms. Teja served as the Vice President of the Children and Family Law Society, represented victims of human trafficking through the Restoration and Justice Clinic, and clerked for Disability Rights California in the Youth Practice Group.

Ms. Teja joined Adams Silva & McNally as a law clerk in 2024 and transitioned to an associate attorney in 2025.
