Laurie E. Kamerrer

Ms. Kamerrer is a Partner in the Los Angeles office of Adams Silva & McNally LLP, where she advises clients on a wide range of labor and employment law and governance matters. She regularly supports clients through every stage of the classified and certificated disciplinary process, up to and including termination, and assists school districts in investigating and resolving complaints of discrimination, harassment, and retaliation. She also guides clients through compliance with a variety of state and federal laws, including Title IX, the California Public Records Act, and the Brown Act.

Before joining Adams Silva & McNally, Ms. Kamerrer practiced as a litigation attorney, representing public and private entities and individuals across a range of practice areas, including personal injury, employment law, and business litigation. She routinely defended school districts in personal injury and premises liability litigation and successfully resolved several cases for the benefit of the school district.

Ms. Kamerrer graduated Phi Beta Kappa from the University of Redlands, where she majored in International Relations and Spanish. She went on to attend Pepperdine University School of Law, where she earned her Juris Doctorate as well as a Certificate in Dispute Resolution from the Straus Institute. During law school, she served as a judicial extern for the Honorable Valerie Fairbanks at the United States District Court for the Central District of California.

Ms. Kamerrer has been selected to the Southern California Rising Stars list each year between 2020 and 2025, an honor reserved for lawyers who demonstrate excellence in practice.
