Ms. Ukrainetz is an associate in the Carlsbad office of Adams Silva & McNally LLP. Ms. Ukrainetz represents school districts in a wide variety of areas including special education, governance, and labor and employment matters. Ms. Ukrainetz graduated from the University of San Diego School of Law, where she earned a Juris Doctor degree with concentrations in Child Rights and Civil Litigation. Prior to joining Adams Silva & McNally LLP, Ms. Ukrainetz served as a law clerk for the San Diego Public Defender in the Central Misdemeanor Unit, where she represented indigent members of the San Diego community in misdemeanor criminal matters.
During law school, Ms. Ukrainetz served as a judicial extern for Magistrate Judge Mitchell D. Dembin, worked for a civil law firm, and served as a legal intern at the University of San Diego Education & Disability Clinic, where she represented low-income individuals with disabilities in many areas, including limited conservatorships.
Ms. Ukrainetz was also an associate member of the Journal of Climate and Energy Law, Woman’s Law Caucus, Advocates for Children and Education (ACE), and Lawyer’s Club of San Diego. Upon graduation, Ms. Ukrainetz received the Pro-bono Legal Services Award for her commitment to helping low-income and disadvantaged individuals.
In her free time, Ms. Ukrainetz loves to travel, spend time with her loving family, and explore the outdoors.
